Get the Respect You Deserve

“When was the last time you stood up for yourself?”

Think about it. When was the last time you set your foot down in an “I’m important and I value myself” kind of way?

We all have a lot going on. Issues at work can seem hopeless; family and household demands zap your energy; hopes and dreams are on your to do list…

But, the truth is, if YOU don’t speak up for yourself, who will?

You have as much a right to things like health, happiness and respect as anyone else. Stand up for what you need; exercise your boundaries.

You owe it to yourself to speak up. It’s all part of becoming your best, and working your way toward a fulfilled, happier you.

 

Another Chance
How often we wish for another chance
To make a fresh beginning.
A chance to blot out our mistakes
And change failure into winning.
It does not take a new day
To make a brand new start,
It only takes a deep desire
To try with all our heart.
To live a little better
And to always be forgiving
And to add a little sunshine
To the world in which we're living.
So never give up in despair
And think that you are through,
For there's always a tomorrow
And the hope of starting new.

Look and listen, feel and know. What you sincerely seek will come within your reach, if you simply allow it and see it.
Opportunity rarely looks the way you thought it would. Open your heart and open your mind to recognize it.

Each day, coming your way, is a fast-flowing stream of seemingly random events. Somewhere within them are the ones you asked for.

For each dream you have, life gives you the possibilities for achieving that dream. Your job is to see those possibilities and to act on them.

When you wish to go new places, you must accept that the road will be unfamiliar. Go with what feels right, even though it feels a little uncomfortable.

What you seek is coming to you. See it and have the faith to fully live it.
