Bullet Proof Your Inner Strength

Bullet Proof Your Inner Strength
by Jane Powell

“Inner strength is just a decision away.”
You probably can think of someone whom you admire and respect. Perhaps you admire her ambition to learn new skills. Maybe it is her perseverance to overcome difficulties and hardships. Why can’t that person be you?
It can and the key is willpower and self-discipline. You have it in you even if you refuse to believe it.
Each one of us is confronted and tempted by an endless stream of temptations; many of which aren’t that important. When you learn to refuse to satisfy all of them, and choose only to satisfy those that are in line with your priorities and values, your willpower and self-discipline become impenetrable.

Everyone Has A Chance To Be Successful

People often handle life as they do bad weather.
They while away the time waiting for it to stop.
Yet the tide of opportunity comes to everyone.
  Opportunity knocks all the time,
But you've got to be ready for it.
  When your chance comes,
You must have the equipment to take advantage of it.
The race is not to the swift
Or the battle to the strong,
For time and chance happen to everyone.
Take a second look at what appears
  To be someone's "good luck."
You'll find not luck but preparation,
  Planning and success-producing thinking.
  When you're prepared for opportunity
Your chance for success is sure to come.
The season of failure is the best time
For sowing the seeds of success.

As soon as you make a decision, do something about it. Lock in your commitment with immediate action.
Your decisions flow from your inner purpose. Harness the immense power of that purpose by acting on those decisions without delay.
At the moment you decide to do something positive and fulfilling, your passion is fully engaged. Keep that passion burning by acting on it right away.
While you're intimately in touch with the reasons why, begin to work on how. Use your motivation to jumpstart your actions, and then your actions will increase your level of motivation.
Instead of wondering how you'll get it done, start experimenting to find what works best. Know right away how great it feels to be making positive progress.
You've chosen to move forward, so there's no reason to delay. In fact there is every reason to get going quickly and to keep going strong.
