Age is something that doesn't matter - unless you're a bottle of wine

"Age is something that doesn't matter - unless you're a bottle of wine."

You are only as old as you think you are. If you embrace new opportunities, seek new learning and stay motivated and lively at heart, you can still do anything. In fact, given the wisdom and experience you've amassed over the years, you can probably do more today than you've ever been able to do before!
Keep your body lively through healthy diet and exercise. Nurture and exercise your mind with new experiences, new information, new friends, interests and challenges. Stay in touch with the world and no matter what your age, the world will stay in touch with you!

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don’t;
If you want to win but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost;
For out of the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will;
It’s all in a state of mind.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger and faster man,
But sooner or later the man who wins
It the man who thinks he can.

Positive, purposeful path

There’s plenty of negativity that comes into your life. And you can let it go just as quickly as it comes.
To empower yourself, you don’t have to grab hold of anything new. Let go of all the negative stuff, and you’ll find that the power has been there all along.
You can’t avoid all the negative people, situations, words and events. You can, however, choose precisely what to do with each of them within yourself.
The most effective thing to do is to focus your awareness, your energy and your efforts elsewhere. Allow your beautiful, unique purpose to push you forward.
The negativity exists, and you cannot help but notice it. But you don’t have to let it be yours.
As soon as you encounter negativity, remind yourself to let it go. Rise above it, and move right ahead on your positive, purposeful path.
