Eliminate Regrets

Eliminate Regrets
by Jane Powell

“Anything that you should have done, but didn’t, ties you to your past.”

Is your mental and emotional clutter getting in the way of a fulfilling life? It’s time to clean out the “need-to’s,” “have-to’s,” and “ought-to’s,” from your past. When you have regrets it’s tough to move forward and grow.

Put the past in the past. Return anything you borrowed.  Make apologies where needed. Get your bills up to date. Send the card or gift you forgot to send. Make the phone call you need to make.

Taking care of these things cleans your mental slate and eliminates any regrets or resentments you may harbor.
Now, take a deep breath; look ahead. Both your conscience, and your future vision, is clear.

YOUR SUCCESS IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity.
But you have to act on them if you're going to be successful.

Distant pastures always look greener than those close at hand,
But real opportunities are right where you are.
You must simply take advantage of them when they appear.
You can start where you are at any time.

Success is all around you.
It's not in your environment, it's not in luck or chance,
Or in the help of others.
Success is in you alone.

You don't need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity.
What you need is to use what you have.
Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you.

You must go to success, it doesn't come to you.
Open your own doors to opportunity.

Seemingly out of nowhere the world can change, and those changes can sometimes be very difficult. But don't let those changes fill you with resentment or fear.
Instead, let the changes ignite your determination. Let them spur you to be more creative, more purposeful, and more focused on what's truly important.

When circumstances change, there is great challenge. And with that challenge comes great opportunity.

With each change, new positive possibilities are born. Put your energy, your awareness and your creativity into figuring out what those possibilities mean for you.

One thing you can always count on is that the world will change. And even in the difficult changes, there is value to be found.

Be ready and willing to uncover that value, and to make the most of it. And no matter what happens, you'll always have the ability to get where you decide to go.
