Simply Inpsire Yourself

Simply Inpsire Yourself
by Jane Powell

“Adventure is as near as stepping out your front door…”

Too often we think of adventure as this big event that we have to plan way in advance. We think arrangements must be made, schedules coordinated, flights booked, time off secured, etc. With such planning the “adventure” of the adventure is easily lost.
Adventure is really a decision to do something that inspires awe, from within. It can be simple, uncomplicated and spontaneous.
When you’re out and about, today, try to look at things in a new way. Approach your tasks with a fresh sense of curiosity. See something new, smell something new, touch something new.
Dare to explore and enjoy the experience of living. You will discover that adventure is easily found in an otherwise ordinary day.

Plan to win
Too often, when you visualize all the things that could go wrong, you never even make the attempt. You're defeated before you even start, by your own imagination. It doesn't have to be that way. You can visualize anything you want. Your imagination is yours
to control. Instead of anticipating defeat, plan in
your mind to win. See yourself achieving. Consider the possible challenges you'll face, and then see yourself successfully overcoming them.

You don't need any money, or experience, or knowledge, or permission from anyone else to be a winner in your own mind. You can do it right now, and tomorrow, and for the rest of your life. And whatever you can visualize in vivid detail, is well on its way to happening.

Think about what you do want, and discard thoughts of what you don't want. Be a winner in your mind, and your positive mind will make you a winner.

When you discover that you're feeling negative, you have two choices. You can feel even more negative about the fact that you're feeling negative, or you can choose to turn your thoughts around.
When you've suffered a defeat, you can make it even worse by beating yourself up about it. Or, you can use it as a positive inspiration to turn yourself around and move forward in a more effective way.

The moment you realize you've strayed from the path, use that realization as a clear and compelling signal. Use it as a signal that it's time to re-commit to the original goal and get yourself back on track.

Sure, it's unfortunate that you've temporarily lost your way. But there's no reason to add to that misfortune.

In this moment, you can choose any direction, no matter what has just happened. So choose a positive, empowering direction that will bring out the best in you.

This is your opportunity to act with renewed determination and purpose. Turn around, and get yourself going forward again.
