Live Life With Few Regrets

 Live Life With Few Regrets
by Jane Powell

“Change is necessary to live a life with few regrets.”
You only live once. And, it doesn’t hurt to think of this, from time to time. The worst thing would be to look back on your life, wishing you could have been happier or done more.
Don’t let that happen! Now is the time to take a good look at your life and make changes so that you have no regrets.
We all know time flies. Days, weeks, months, and years slip away. Don’t let them pass you by. Make the necessary changes that bring happy, joyful memories, so you can look back with no regrets.

Go Deep
Most of us think too much, especially about events and people, local and global, famous and not so famous. When we are always thinking about what is happening on the surface of life, the visible, then it is as if we are living a superficial life. Deep down inside there is a voice, a longing, a calling to depth. It's our heart, reminding us to visit, explore and express the depths of our ourselves. Going deep and being deep requires time spent in solitude, some periods of introversion and a conversation with ourselves. How on earth will we ever see what is in our heart unless we dive deep inside, switch on the light and look. Those who do will tell you it changes everything. What do they see? Simple, only beauty and truth. They are always there, waiting for us to return. Waiting to welcome us and to introduce ourselves to ourself.

When you place too many conditions on your enjoyment of life, there is no enjoyment. You can end up working so much to get the conditions just right, that there's no time left to really enjoy yourself.
Let go of the need to have everything just so. Simply and fully enjoy being where you are.
In every moment there is beauty. Rather than striving to make that beauty into what you think it should be, just enjoy it as it is.
Happiness is not something you must prove. Find enjoyment in simply letting it flow.
Instead of working to do happy, be happy. See that the possibilities for joy are far greater than anything you could ever contrive.
There is plenty of joy to be lived in this moment. Let the uniqueness of the moment help you discover new ways of tasting life's real pleasures.
Ralph Marston
